Bai Xian Asia Institute is offering Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program for Asian students of Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate, MBA, or other Master/Doctoral degree programme at any anchor or participating universities. Successful candidates will be supported over the course of their degree studies, subject to a maximum commitment of US$50,000. The application deadline is 31st January 2016.

Eligibility:
Anchor Universities
-Asian students applying for the relevant full-time degree program at Anchor Universities are eligible for the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (“AFLSP”).  Please review each Anchor University’s Unique Program Offerings in detail and apply to the Anchor University directly for admission.  The Institute encourages all who are interested in the AFLSP at Anchor Universities to contact the relevant office/program administrator to express their interest.
-Successful candidates will be fully supported over the course of their degree studies at the Anchor University.
-Please note that the AFLSP will only support students who wish to study abroad at one of their ourAnchor Universities.
Participating Universities
-Asian students from Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea applying for a full-time degree program or who are currently enrolled at any of Participating Universities are eligible for the AFLSP and are required to register their interest on their website.
-Successful candidates will be supported over the course of their degree studies at the Participating University, subject to a maximum commitment of US$50,000 from the Institute.
-The AFLSP will only support students who wish to study abroad at one of their Participating Universities. Award of an AFLSP Pool scholarship will be made conditional upon the candidate’s successfully obtaining a recommendation from the Participating University, acceptance, and subsequent enrollment at the same university, as well as committing in writing to attending the BXAI Summer Program.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Asian students from Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea can apply for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Description: The Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP) provides scholarships for high-caliber students from across Asia to study abroad at a leading university in Asia. Scholars may choose to pursue undergraduate, MBA, or other Master/Doctoral degree studies at any of their Anchor or Participating Universities, and are encouraged to live in shared dormitories with local students. Scholars from Anchor and Participating Universities must attend the BXAI Summer Program, which runs over 3 weeks and provides a common platform for all to live and learn alongside each other, sharing their knowledge and experiences. Only Anchor Universities offer enrichment opportunities on campus over the academic year and operate an independent selection process. Applicants interested in applying for the AFLSP at any of Anchor Universities should apply for admission and contact the relevant university directly.   Participating Universities recommend candidates to the Institute for interview by the BXAI Selection Panel, which allocates scholarships for the AFLSP Pool. Applicants interested in applying for the AFLSP at any of their Participating Universities should register on their website for online application.

What does it cover? Subject to a maximum commitment of US$50,000 from Bai Xian Asia Institute, the AFLSP Scholarship supports students up to US$25,000 per year, and covers:
-university tuition fees
-university matriculation and other fees
-accommodation fee
-personal stipend
-Full costs of attending the BXAI Summer Program (accommodation, food, round-trip economy class airfare) will be separately covered.

Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview by the BXAI Selection Panel between March to April 2016.
