FAPESP Young Investigator Awards in Brazil, 2017

Sao Paulo Research Foundation now wishes to invite applicants for Young Investigator Awards. These awards are available for highly qualified young researchers (or group of highly qualified young researchers) of Brazil.

The purpose of the Young Investigator Award is to enable the creation of job opportunities for highly qualified young researchers or group of highly qualified young researchers, especially in emerging research institutions. Proposals of new research areas in traditional Institutions are also eligible.

São Paulo Research Foundation is a public foundation located in São Paulo, Brazil, with the aim of providing grants, funds and programs to support research, education.

Course Level: These awards are available to pursue research.

Study Subject: These awards are available in new research areas in traditional institutions.

Scholarship Award: These awards will cover the following:

  • The Young Investigator Award may last up to 48 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension in exceptional conditions and justification approved by FAPESP.

Scholarship can be taken in Brazil

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be Scientific Initiation, Masters, PhD, Direct Doctorate, Postdoctorate, and Young Investigator.

Nationality: Brazilian applicants can apply for these awards.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must be researchers.

  • Required documents shall be sent to FAPESP: birth certificate or adoption registration in hard-copy, with a guiding letter at the moment of the left.
