The University of Aberdeen is offering Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) Scholarships for Home, EU and RUK applicants starting in September 2018. These scholarships provide tuition fee support for up to £6300 per students.

The University of Aberdeen is a public research university in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is an ancient university founded in 1495 when William Elphinstone, Bishop of Aberdeen, petitioned Pope Alexander VI on behalf of James IV, King of Scots to establish King’s College, making it Scotland’s third-oldest university and the fifth-oldest in the English-speaking world.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Scholarship Description:

• Application Deadline: June 15, 2018
• Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MSc programme.
• Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Molecular Medicine, Reproductive & Developmental Biology, Cardiovascular Science & Diabetes and Industrial Biotechnology.
• Scholarship Award: IMS Scholarships provide tuition fee support for up to £6300 per student and are open to Home, EU and RUK applicants starting in September 2018.
• Nationalities: Scholarships are open to Home, EU and RUK applicants.
• Number of Scholarships: There are five scholarships available for selected on-campus IMS programmes.
• Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

• Eligible Countries: Scholarships are open to Home, EU and RUK applicants.
• Entrance Requirements: Applicants with a fee classification of Home, EU or RUK who hold an offer of admission to one of the eligible campus-based programmes commencing in September 2018.
• English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

How to Apply:

No separate scholarship application is required. All applicants who hold an offer for admission for the eligible programmes by the close date of 15th June will be considered automatically.
