Scholarship Description: The department of Genetics in Ecology at the Faculty for Life Sciences in Vienna invites applications for a university assistant position. The candidate should have an excellent track record in microbial symbiosis employing state-of-the-art molecular and microscopic techniques, in order to complement the current research topics and teaching tasks of the department.The university assistant will actively contribute to the teaching of the department, will perform independent research and will contribute to the self-administration of the university. Depending on the performance in research and education, the possibility for a habilitation to obtain a “venia legendi” will be provided.
