Future Planners RTPI Bursary for Postgraduate Students in UK, 2016

Newcastle University is inviting applications for Future Planners RTPI bursary for postgraduate students. Applicants must be a UK or EU citizen or have proof of eligibility to work in the UK or Ireland after graduation. Each Bursary will be for £1,000 (for part time students the bursary will be split across each year of the course). The bursary will be awarded and administered on a competitive basis and will be available for the recipient to use at their discretion. The application deadline is 18th September 2015.

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for a Bursary you must meet the following criteria:
-Applicants must be a UK or EU citizen or have proof of eligibility to work in the UK or Ireland after graduation
-Hold a first or 2:1 Honours Degree in any discipline
-Demonstrate an interest in planning as a career
-Applicants must be enrolled on one of our postgraduate programmes, offering full professional accreditation from the Royal Town Planning Institute, by Monday 5th October 2015

Scholarship Description: The RTPI has created a new bursary for students on accredited postgraduate planning courses. The scheme is open to students from any discipline including architecture, geography, politics, sociology, law or business who decide to choose planning as a career.
