Griffith University is offering international undergraduate scholarships for high school graduates applying for undergraduate studies at Griffith University. The value of each scholarship is $5,000 in total. Two payments of $2500 will be made towards each recipient’s tuition fees in the first and second semester of the first year of program. Applications for Semester 1 entry close on 30 November and for Semester 2 entry close on 30 April.

-have a minimum GPA in high school studies
-have applied to Griffith University and satisfy all appropriate entry requirements for the proposed degree program, including results of previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University’s undergraduate entry requirements
-be a commencing student
-be enrolling as a full time student in an undergraduate degree at Griffith university
Scholarship Open for International Students: Citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: Griffith is proud to announce an exciting new range of scholarships to support exceptional international students coming to study at the University. From 2015, scholarships will be available for high performing international students to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs. These scholarships recognise and reward outstanding students who’ve excelled in their studies prior to, or during their time at, Griffith University.

Selection Criteria: Applicant must provide:
-a certified/attested true copy of supporting documentation demonstrating strong academic merit as outlined in Eligibility section.
-two letters of reference addressing demonstrated leadership ability and personal character.
-a personal statement which includes why the applicant has applied for the scholarship, the selected program of study at Griffin University, and other information they feel strengths their application for the scholarship.
Notification: Applicants applying for Semester 1 will be notified by end of December and those applying for Semester 2 entry will be notified by the end of May.
How to Apply: Applications should be submitted via post or email.
Scholarship Application Deadline: Applications for Semester 1 entry close 30 November (January or February commencement). Applications for Semester 2 entry close 30 April (July commencement).
