University of Sheffield is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2016 entry. South Korean students are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to undertake postgraduate program at the university.
The University aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for International students.
The University is ranked 97th in the world and 15th in the UK according to the 2015-16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, a rise of three and 24 places respectively.
There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for international students to pursue masters degree program.
Study Subject: Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas at the university of Sheffield.
Scholarship Award: The scholarships are worth 50% of your postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

Eligibility: Scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria which you should check carefully to make sure you are eligible before you apply. The scholarship will be awarded to international on the basis of merit and the supporting statement.
-To be eligible for the South Korea Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2016 (50% reduction in fees), applicants must be self-funding and classed as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes AND be a South Korean national or permanently domiciled in South Korea
–The South Korea Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2016 (50% tuition fee discount) are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
-If you wish to be considered for these scholarships you need to apply. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January onwards.
-Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
Nationality: South Korean students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement: A good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role and On occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience
English Language Requirements: Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognised English language test such as IELTS. You need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.

How to Apply: All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.
