Applications are invited for Karen Napier Scholarships at the University of Stirling Management School. These scholarships are available to international students for pursuing full time MSc Investment Analysis in September 2016.
Two Karen Napier scholarships are generously funded by the Karen Napier Charity and the University of Stirling Management School in memory of Karen, a graduate of the MSc in Investment Analysis.
The requirements for a specific English Language test score such as IELTS or TOEFL may be waived if instruction and assessment of applicant’s first degree study has been in English.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing Master of Science (MSc) program.
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered at Stirling Management School.

Scholarship Award: Each Scholarship will meet the course tuition fees and will also provide a maintenance award of £3,500.

Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of the personal statement. Applicants may be of any nationality and must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on the full time MSc Investment Analysis for entry in September 2016.
Nationality: Students of any nationality can apply for this scholarship.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Normally a minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent is required, and some programmes may require a background in the subject area or relevant work experience.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: The requirements for a specific English Language test score such as IELTS or TOEFL may be waived if instruction and assessment of applicant’s first degree study has been in English. If they fail to achieve the required level of English at testing, (e.g. gaining IELTS 5.5 when asked for IELTS 6) they can enrol on English Language Pre-sessional Courses.
Supporting Material: When applying to the University of Stirling, applicants are required to submit:
-Completed and signed application form
-Two references (at least one being academic)
-Original or authenticated copy of their Degree certificate
-Original or authenticated copy of their Transcript of study
-Evidence of English Language proficiency (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL certificate or notification of intending test date)
-A research proposal (research students only: check the ‘Notes for Applicants’ for advice on length and structure).
How to Apply: Applicants must complete the application form, ensuring that all sections are answered legibly, and provide a statement of 500 words on why a scholarship would help they and what their career or educational aims are for the five year period after they graduate from the Investment Analysis course.
