Cardiff University is pleased to offer studentship in engineering to undertake PhD degree programme. Studentship is awarded to students of any nationality.
The aim of the PhD studentship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality.

Candidates should hold or expect to gain a first class or a good 2.1 MEng degree and/or an appropriate Master’s level qualification (or their equivalent) in a relevant subject area (engineering, physics, applied mathematics). Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).
Course Level: Studentship is awarded to undertake PhD degree programme.
Study Subject: Studentship is tenable in Engineering: Optimisation for novel material for advanced manufacturing.
Scholarship Award: This studentship consists of full UK/EU tuition fees, as well as a Doctoral Stipend matching UK Research Council National Minimum (£14,057 p.a. for 2015/16, updated each year).

-Residency: This studentship is open to students of any nationality. Students classified as international for fee purposes have to self-fund the difference between home and international fees.
-Candidates should hold or expect to gain a first class or a good 2.1 MEng degree and/or an appropriate Master’s level qualification (or their equivalent) in a relevant subject area (engineering, physics, applied mathematics).
