Maastricht University is pleased to offer Prof. dr. Jo Ritzen scholarship for French students within the School of Business and Economics. Scholarship is available for pursuing bachelor degree programme.
The main objective of the university is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.
Maastricht University (UM) climbed to shared 88th place in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, up from number 101 last year.
Applicants must submit the official results of either an IELTS test (minimum score 6.0) or TOEFL (computer-/internet-based minimum score 79; paper-based minimum score 550). If they finished their secondary education in an EU/EEA country they will not have to do an English language test.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing bachelor degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded with in the school of Business and Economics.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship of €6.000, – covers tuition fee for three academic years with a maximum period of maximum 36 months. The period of the scholarship starts and ends at the dates mentioned in the award letter.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship:
-Prof.dr.ir. Jo Ritzen offers a scholarship to a talented bachelor student, who has been admitted to the bachelor program International Business or the bachelor program Economics and Business Economics of the School of Business and Economics starting September 2016. Candidates must have met all the admission requirements and participated in the decentralized selection procedure (in place for both programmes). Applicants have to hold a passport of France.
-Applicants have to meet the requirements for obtaining a Dutch visa (’MVV’ – residence permit).
Nationality: French students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

English language Requirements: The bachelor’s programme in Economics and Business Economics is taught in English. If they finished their secondary education in a non–EU/EEA country and are not a native English speaker, applicants must submit the official results of either an IELTS test (minimum score 6.0) or TOEFL (computer-/internet-based minimum score 79; paper-based minimum score 550). If they finished their secondary education in an EU/EEA country they will not have to do an English language test.
