Swansea University is inviting applications for PhD studentship in Coastal Engineering: Investigation of Shoreline Stability. Studentship is available for UK, EU and international applicants.
The aim of the Swansea University scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able UK, EU and international students.
The university has achieved to be a top thirty research university, soaring up the 2014 Research Excellence Framework league table to 26th in the UK from 52nd in 2008.
SWELT is the official English language test for international students wishing to study at Swansea University. The test is designed, administered and marked by English Language Training Services staff and is accepted by Swansea University as an alternative to IELTS as part of applicants application for a CAS.
Course Level: Studentship is available for PhD degree programme at Swansea University.
Study Subject: Studentship is tenable in Coastal Engineering: Investigation of Shoreline Stability at Swansea University.
Scholarship Award: The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £14,296 p.a for three years. International students are welcome to apply, but will be required to pay the difference between the UK/EU fee level and the international fee level. International students must demonstrate that they are able to fund the difference between UK/EU and International tuition fees, in totality, prior to the commencement of studies.

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria is:
-Candidates should hold a Masters degree in a relevant subject area, such as Coastal Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Oceanography or a related field.
-Some familiarity with the dynamics of tides, waves and coastal morphology would be an advantage.
-This scholarship is open to UK, EU and international applicants.
