MODUL University Vienna and the Vienna Tourist Board are offering fully-funded PhD scholarship for students of Austria. The intended focus of the PhD research is the compatibility of tourism and cities.
The PhD Scholarship aims to recruit outstanding graduates, irrespective of country of origin and ethnic background, to Vienna, and provides the following incentives to the successful PhD Fellows.
MODUL University Vienna is an international research university with a strong commitment to conducting cutting-edge research and scholarship, innovative and engaging teaching, and knowledge transfer to the larger European community and beyond.
Applicants must have excellent spoken and written English skills (German is not a requirement).
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme.
Study Subject: The intended focus of the PhD research is the compatibility of tourism and cities.
Scholarship Award: 4-year tuition waiver with a total value of €45,000 plus an additional budget of € 5,000 dedicated to software procurement, conference participation, etc.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
-Completed at least the equivalent of a bachelor’s and master’s and/or diploma degrees (with a combined minimum duration of four years)
-An aptitude for conducting high quality research and making significant scholarly contributions to basic knowledge in field of business or one of the social or economic sciences
-Applicants must demonstrate aptitude for conducting high quality research and making significant scholarly contributions to basic knowledge in field of business or one of the social or economic sciences.
-Excellent spoken and written English skills (German is not a requirement)
-The willingness to assist in teaching at the undergraduate level.
Nationality: Austrian students can apply for this PhD scholarship.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have completed at least the equivalent of a bachelor’s and master’s and/or diploma degrees (with together a minimum duration of four years).
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: Applicants must have excellent spoken and written English skills (German is not a requirement).
