Applications are invited for a fully-funded PhD studentship in Dr. Pavel Starkov’s group at the Department of Chemistry within Faculty of Science at Tallinn University of Technology with an intended start in late August/early September 2016. Fully-funded PhD studentship is open to citizens of all nationalities (i.e. no EU residency-requirement being imposed).

Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) is one of the most innovative universities in Europe. TUT offers internationally recognized bachelor`s and master`s programmes in English in many different study fields: Business, Social Sciences, Law, IT, Engineering etc.
International applicants are required to provide a proof of their English language proficiency.
Course Level: Studentship is awarded for pursuing PhD programme.
Study Subject: Studentship is available in Dr. Pavel Starkov’s group at the Department of Chemistry within Faculty of Science.
List of Subjects: Organic/Translational Synthetic Chemistry/Chemical Biology
Scholarship Award: The studentship is tax-free (approx. €1100 pcm+health insurance) and last up to 46 months. Applicant will also be funded to present their work at international conferences/workshops and well positioned to take a fully-fledged internship/placement at a complimentary world-leading research institution of their choice (up to 12 m).

Eligibility: Applicants must have a research MA degree or equivalent qualifications and experience.

-Plan for the doctoral thesis signed by the prospective supervisor
-Proof of English Proficiency
