Yayasan Wah Seong Scholarship Awards are made available for Malaysian students. These are offered for full time diploma/first degree courses at Malaysian public and private universities/colleges.

The aim of the Yayasan Wah Seong Scholarship Awards is to enable and encourage academically able students.

It is a public listed company on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia. Yayasan Wah Seong (YWS). Scholarships are offered to financially needy and academically deserving students.

Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

Course Level: The scholarship award is for the pursuit of a full-time diploma/first degree program at institutions of higher learning in local public or private universities/colleges in Malaysia.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the universities.

List of Subjects: Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical), Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Human Resources, Law, Mass Communication and Economics

Scholarship Award: The value of each award is subject to the course taken and will not exceed RM9,000 per academic year whether in public or private university/college. Each award will be for the minimum period required to complete the course of study.

Scholarship can be taken at: Malaysia

Eligibility: Scholarships are offered to financially needy and academically deserving students. Candidates currently studying, registered or applying to local public and private universities/colleges are eligible. Applicants must be Malaysians and demonstrate a continuing involvement in extra-curricular activities (team or individual sports; voluntary service; affiliation with a recognized association or society).

Nationality: Malaysian students can apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Candidates currently studying, registered or applying to local public and private universities/colleges are eligible.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

Malaysia Scholarships

Supporting Material: Successful short-listed candidates must provide the following documents during the preliminary interview:
-Original/Copy of academic transcripts that have been certified as True copies by the schools or university/college from where the candidate graduated,
-Letter of admission from the university or college, (if any)
-Any other documents that candidates wish to submit to strengthen their application including copies of articles written, reports of volunteer work, extracurricular certificates etc.

How to Apply: Applicants must complete the application form and send it by post/fax/email.
