The Technical University of Denmark is pleased to offer Ph.D. scholarship in Modeling for Wind Turbine Rotors/TRMOD. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this Ph.D. scholarship.

The main objective of the scholarship is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities to the students of any nationality.

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is a leading technical university in northern Europe and benchmarks with the best universities in the world.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue Ph.D. programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in Modeling for Wind Turbine Rotors/TRMOD. The section (AER) focuses on aerodynamic and aero-acoustic modeling and experimental research for airfoil and blade design and optimisation and implements the research in cooperation with industry, in software tools and in courses.

Scholarship Award: The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for Ph.D. degree students. The period of employment is 3 years.

Scholarship can be taken in Denmark

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship

  • Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.
  • A good knowledge of aerodynamics, prior experience with CFD and Fortran programming is preferred.

Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: In order to be eligible candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.

English language Requirements: According to the Danish Ministry of Science (Order no 183 of 23 February 2010), all non-Danish citizens who apply for admission to English-taught MSc programmes are required to provide documentation of English language proficiency comparable to ‘English B-level’ from a Danish upper secondary school.
