Brunel University is delighted to offer three full PhD scholarships, available in October 2016. Home/EU applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme
University’s goal is to provide over £110,000 of financial support to exceptional students. Scholarship holders will go on to represent Brunel as ambassadors throughout their time at the University.
Brunel University London is a world-class university based in Uxbridge, West London, and was established in 1966.
If English is not their first language applicant will need to meet the university’s English language requirements.
Course Level: Scholarship is available to undertake research programme.

Scholarship Award: Each scholarship will cover tuition fees at the current Research Councils UK (RCUK) rate for three years plus a stipend (Current RCUK rate) of approximately £14,500 per year for three years. (NB: bench fees associated with a PhD course will also be covered).

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for fellowship:
Applicants must have either a 1st class or 2:1 honours degree and/or a relevant Masters/or be enrolled on a Masters in the relevant discipline at Brunel University London.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must normally have a minimum of a UK 2.1 honours degree
English language Requirements: There are minimum English language requirements for all individuals. Native speakers of English should normally have a GCSE or equivalent in English at minimum Grade C. Equivalent levels of English for non-native speakers are outlined on Brunel International’s language requirements pages.
Supporting Material: The research proposal should be 500 words and should include the following:
-The title of your chosen project
-A brief abstract offering a general overview of the area
-Appropriate referencing to relevant literature (relevant debates and issues, key articles and texts)
-Key research questions
-Brief Methodology (including tools and appropriate approach)
-Timescale/research planning
-Bibliography (list of references to key articles and texts).
