Swansea University is inviting application for Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research Funded PhD Studentship in Respiratory Medicine. UK/EU and international students are welcome to apply.
The aim of the Swansea University scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able international students.
Swansea University is a research-led university that has been making a difference since 1920.
Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, such as nursing, physiotherapy, psychology/behavioural science, exercise/sports science) or geography.
Course Level: Studentship is available for Ph.D. programme.
Study Subject: Studentship is available in Respiratory Medicine at Swansea University.
Scholarship Award: The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax-free stipend of £14,057 p.a. for three years. There will also be additional funds available for research expenses up to a value of £1890 per year.

Eligibility: Criteria is:
- Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, such as nursing, physiotherapy, psychology/behavioural science, exercise/sports science) or geography.
- UK/EU and international students are welcome to apply, although only UK/EU tuition fees are covered by this studentship. International students will be required to pay the difference between UK/EU and international fees.
Nationality: UK/EU and international students are welcome to apply.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, such as nursing, physiotherapy, psychology/behavioural science, exercise/sports science) or geography.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: SWELT is the official English language test for international students wishing to study at Swansea University. The test is designed, administered and marked by English Language Training Services staff and is accepted by Swansea University as an alternative to IELTS as part of applicants application for a CAS.
