The internet is playing a bigger role in our lives, as University buy groceries, manage our finances, share social experiences and otherwise live our lives online. But how many of us have considered studying online?

Studying online takes advantage of technology to simulate or improve upon traditional methods of teaching. This course draws on the expertise of The Open University to introduce you to some of these teaching methods, including looking at two periods of European history, teaching chemistry through the online Open Science Laboratory and using free apps to practise writing Chinese characters.

Requirements

How To Join This Course

-Go to the course website link.
-Sign Up At FutureLearn
-Select a course and Join
-Once a course has started, applicant will be able to access the course material
-After the start date, they will be able to access the course by following the Go To Course link on their My Courses page.
-Applicants can buy, to show that they have completed a FutureLearn course.
-On some FutureLearn courses, learners will be able to pay to take an exam to qualify for a Statement of Attainment. (These are university-branded, printed certificates that provide proof of learning on the course topic(s)).
