International Criminal Court is inviting applications for Cyber Unit/Forensic Science Section (FSS) internship programme for the year 2016. All Candidates must have a degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university. International applicants are eligible to apply for this internship programme. Interns are required to work full time for a period between three and six months (to be agreed to prior to commencement). Internship placements shall not be extended beyond six months.

Eligibility: Education: All Candidates must have a degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance. University studies in the field of ICT, Computer crime, Computer and/or mobile forensics and Online investigation would be an asset.
Experience: Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers therefore; practical experience is not an essential prerequisite for selection. However, practical experience that is relevant to the work of the Court may be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Able to adapt to multicultural and multilingual working environments. Possesses strong teamwork skills (listens, consults and communicates proactively). Has acquired a good standard of computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications).
Knowledge of Languages: Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Is this paid internship? Please note that the ICC is not able to provide participants in the Internship Programme with remuneration, nor is it possible to provide any reimbursement for any expenses incurred during the internship. Accordingly, applicants must have the necessary resources or other financial support for the duration of the internship for which they have been selected.
Internship Description: The International Criminal Court (ICC), governed by the Rome Statute, is the first permanent, treaty based, international criminal court established to help end impunity for the perpetrators of the most serious crimes of concern to the international community. The ICC is an independent international organisation, and is not part of the United Nations system. Its seat is at The Hague in the Netherlands. Although the Court’s expenses are funded primarily by States Parties, it also receives voluntary contributions from governments, international organisations, individuals, corporations and other entities.
