A 3-year Ph.D. scholarship is available at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Section of Heart and Circulatory research with starting date August 1, 2016. These scholarships are open to Danish and international applicants for a period of three years.
The Ph.D. project will be carried out in the Ion Channel Group under supervision by associate prof. Bo HjorthBentzen and Nicole Schmitt. The main focus of the study is to investigate epigenetic changes in atrial fibrillation.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing Ph.D. programme.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in cardiac arrhythmia.
Scholarship Award: Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisation.

Eligibility: Motivated candidates are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. The candidate must hold a relevant master degree or its equivalent.
Nationality: Danish, as well as international applicants, are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
