Groups of Victor Tybulewicz at the Crick and Jeremy Green at King’s College London are inviting application for PhD Studentship in Craniofacial Development in Mouse Models of Down Syndrome. UK applicants are eligible for the studentship.

The institute will be a world-leading centre of biomedical research and innovation. It will promote connections between researchers and disciplines and between academic institutions, healthcare organisations and businesses.

The Francis Crick Institute (the Crick) is a partnership between the Medical Research Council (MRC), Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Wellcome Trust, University College London (UCL), Imperial College London and King’s College London. It is a registered charity whose purpose is to conduct biomedical research into all aspects of human health and disease.

Applicants must hold or expect to gain a first/upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.

Course Level: Studentship is available for PhD degree programme.

Study Subject: Studentship is available in Craniofacial development in mouse models of Down Syndrome.

Scholarship Award: The successful candidate will be paid a studentship stipend of £22,000 per annum.

  • Hold or expect to gain a first/upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Have appropriate research experience as part of, or outside of, a university degree course and/or a Master’s degree in a relevant subject
  • scientific curiosity and creativity
