USAID is accepting applications for PRESTASI Scholarship open to Indonesian citizens. The scholarship is available for qualified employees working in the public and private sectors to pursue graduate programs in U.S. universities.

The goal of this program is to improve the performance and leadership skills of Indonesian professionals, which will help to promote development in the country.

PRESTASI follows in the footsteps of earlier scholarship programs. The goal is to train a new generation of Indonesian public and private sector leaders in priority skills and areas including economics, health, environment, management, and leadership.

Applicants can have evidence of English ability in the form of either ITP TOEFL score of 450 or IBT TOEFL score of 45 or IELTS score of 5.0.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing graduate programs at U.S. universities.

Study Subject: Main areas of focus is the field where the US and Indonesia alike-have a shared interest to eliminate poverty and democratic transparency both within Indonesia itself, as well as globally.

Scholarship can be taken at: USA

Eligibility:
-Indonesian citizen. No dual citizenship
-U.S. government employees, USAID contractor staff, and employees whose salaries are directly paid by U.S. government are not eligible to apply
-Candidates should have a minimum of two years working experience and ten years remaining -prior to retirement to apply their new knowledge after completing their degrees
-Evidence of English ability in the form of either ITP TOEFL® score of 450 or IBT TOEFL® score of 45 or IELTS™ score of 5.0
-A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university at the time of application, minimum GPA 2.75 (Scale 4.0)
-Have a strong commitment to returning to Indonesia promptly upon completion of study
-Currently not receiving a scholarship from other institution
-No prior master degree, or in the process completing a masters degree
-Currently working in the same field as the proposed field of study
-Once accepted, deferment is not possible.
-Candidates from under-served areas, and from regions where USAID projects are located, will have priority
-Candidates must pass a medical examination prior to initiating their study.
-Successful completion of Pre-academic Training is required for all candidates before departure to U.S.
-Once accepted, PNS candidates must obtain the Service/Blue Passport.

Nationality: Indonesian citizens can apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university at the time of application, minimum GPA 2.75 (Scale 4.0)

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Evidence of English ability in the form of either ITP TOEFL score of 450 or IBT TOEFL score of 45 or IELTS score of 5.0.

Supporting Material: The complete application package must include:
-Completed and signed an application form.
-Certified Undergraduate Certificate
-Certified Undergraduate Academic Transcript
Recent photographs (4×6, B/W or color)
-Copy of valid national ID card (KTP or Passport)
-Valid TOEFL® ITP or TOEFL® iBT or IELTS™ score (scores must be valid up to 16 November 2016)
-Original reference letters, in sealed envelopes
-Recent Curriculum Vitae (in English)
-Copy of certificates and awards (if available)
-Copy of article, journal, research or cover page of publication, etc (if available)
