Global Interns offers you a 13-week paid internship on campus during your studies at DMU, helping you gain valuable work experience and become more employable once you graduate. The internship is available to new international students joining the university in September 2016.
Interns must hold an offer to study at DMU and have paid the £3,000 tuition fee pre-payment before accepting the internship. Interns will be paid £8.25 per hour. Payments are made on a monthly basis and are paid directly into their bank account. Internship application deadline is 31st August 2016.
Field of Internship: All internships are based within DMU. Interns could be working in an administration role, helping write social media content, supporting the Vice-Chancellor’s office, working on projects within the university’s faculties and professional services departments, as well as some lab-based opportunities. University will use their application to match them to a suitable internship.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the 2016 September Global Interns, the following conditions apply:
- Interns must be a new International undergraduate or postgraduate taught student joining DMU for the first time in September 2016.
- Interns must hold an offer to study at DMU and have paid the £3,000 tuition fee pre-payment before accepting the internship.
- This opportunity is not open to foundation students, study abroad students, exchange students or postgraduate research students.

Internship Description: Global Interns offers interns a 13-week paid internship on campus during their studies at DMU, helping them gain valuable work experience and become more employable once they graduate. They will be able to work on real-life tasks, alongside current university employees.
Internship Duration: All internships begin on Monday 15 October 2016. They will last for 13 weeks and involve 10 hours work per week.
Notification: Successful applicants will be notified on 16 September 2016.
