The Department of Veterinary Animal and Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is offering two PhD Fellowships to commence on 1 October 2016. The positions are available for a 3-year period for applicants holding a relevant master´s degree.

Applicants whose native language is not English must document proficiency in English by having passed one of the recognised language tests.
Course Level: Fellowships are awarded for pursuing Ph.D. program.
Study Subject: Fellowships are available in the Department of Veterinary Animal and Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
Scholarship Award: Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organizations. Depending on seniority, the monthly salary begins around 25.579 DKK (ca. 3.450 EUR) plus pension. The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities (2013).
Scholarship can be taken in Denmark
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for these fellowships:
- MD or DVM
- Prior experience in clinical work and/or translational research with laboratory animals
- Knowledge in neonatology, pediatrics
- High motivation and basic scientific skills are essential
- Good communication skills both oral and written, including English usage
- Good collaborating skills are essential.
Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these fellowships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: The positions are available for a 3-year period for applicants holding a relevant master´s degree.
English language Requirements: Applicants whose native language is not English must document proficiency in English by having passed one of the recognised language tests. (For IELTS a minimum score of 6.5 is required. For TOEFL a minimum score of 90 (internet-based) or 231 (computer-based) is required.
