Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research fellow to work in the following research project sanctioned by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Govt. of India.
The successful applicant will work on the research project entitled “Design and synthesis of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (zifs) for co2 capture” under the supervision of Prof. M. Saratchandra Babu, Principal Investigator, Dept. of Chemistry.
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), known for its cutting-edge R&D knowledgebase in diverse S&T areas, is a contemporary R&D organisation. Having a pan-India presence, CSIR has a dynamic network of 38 national laboratories, 39 outreach centres, 3 Innovation Complexes and 5 units.
Applicant must have master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 55% marks and must be NET (JRF or Lectureship)/GATE qualified.
Course Level: Fellowship is awarded for pursuing a research programme.
Study Subject: Fellowship is available to work on the project titled, “Design and synthesis of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (zifs) for co2 capture”.
Scholarship Award: Applicant will receive Rs. 25,000/- + 20% HRA/month.

Eligibility: In order to apply, applicants must follow the given criteria:
Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 55% marks and must be NET (JRF or Lectureship)/GATE qualified.
Age limit: The upper age limit for JRF is 28 as on the day on which the application is made. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Nationality: Applicants from India can apply for this position.
