International Student Foundation (ISF) is offering scholarships for students of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. These scholarships are available for students who want to study in the UK to continue their postgraduate studies in various fields.

The International Student Foundation is focused on the welfare of UK-related international students aiming to facilitate and improve the experience of international mobility.

ISF’s ultimate objective is to encourage excellent students to pursue a degree in the UK. Successful applicants are selected according to academic and personal excellence, and individual’s potential contribution to their society upon graduation.

Applicants must have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, no element lower than 6.0.

Course Level: Scholarships are available only for students applying for master’s degree programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study for studying the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: An ISF Scholarship consists of £2,000 deduction from the tuition fee.

Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility:

ISF for Thai Student: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must

• Have a GPA or be expecting a GPA of 3.3+ from any Thai universities. (all disciplines welcomed)
• Have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each component.
• Hold a Thai citizenship.
• Not hold an offer or scholarships from other institutions or universities. (applicants must be self-funded.)
• Apply to selected universities through UKuni online platform.
• You must not be in receipt of any other scholarship, except for automatic scholarships granted by the universities.

ISF for Vietnamese Student: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must

• Graduate with a high 2:1 (65 and above) or 75 and above if graduated from a recognised university in Vietnam
• Be a self-funded student.
• Hold a conditional/unconditional offer for September 2016 intake from any of the selected universities with UKuni platform.
• IELTS score of at least 6.5, no element lower than 6.0. (if applicable)
• Hold Vietnamese citizenship.
• You must not be in receipt of any other scholarship, except for automatic scholarships granted by the universities.

ISF for Indonesian, Singaporean and Malaysian Student: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must

• Applicants must be a citizen of Indonesia, Singapore or Malaysia
• The cost of tuition will be balanced out by the scholarship.
• Applicants must not presently hold other scholarship/loans elsewhere.
• This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with other scholarships within ISF.
• Applicants must be enrolling on a postgraduate programme at a selected university in September 2016.
• Applicants must have received an offer by a selected university by 30th June.
• Successful candidates will have their tuition fee reduced stated in the offer letter. Candidates must confirm acceptance of their scholarship by accepting an offer from a selected university and making a deposit payment.
• ISF committee may use whatever means of assessment to determine the eligibility of a scholarship.
• Scholarship holders are to give their consent to have their names and details released by ISF for marketing purposes.

Nationality: Citizens of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Entrance requirement for each university is different.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Applicants must have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, no element lower than 6.0. (if applicable)

How to Apply: Application process

• Create an account on the website with promo code ISF16. In UKuni account, applicants must upload all applicants must upload all supporting documents required as instructed on UKuni website for applying for Master’s Degree in the UK universities.
• Please note that Applicants must submit a 300-word essay on UKuni website reasoning why they should receive this scholarship before the deadline.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited to an online interview. The interview will last approximately 20 minutes.
• Within five working days after the interview, successful candidates will be contacted via email.

Application Form

Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 8th July 2016 for Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore and 20th, July 2016 for Vietnam.
