National Research Tomsk Polytechnic is inviting applications for the Ph.D. research project. The successful applicant will work on the research project entitled ‘Green wireless communications for future wireless networks’ under the supervision of Dr. Nalin Jayakody.
The proposed research project Focuses on the development of advanced energy harvesting techniques and network coding (physical layer) operations in order to design cooperative communication protocols suitable for future wireless networks.
Applicant must be fluent in English.
Course Level: Scholarship is available to undertake PhD programme.
Study Subject: Green wireless communications for future wireless networks
Scholarship Award: 60 000 RUB/month, additional bonuses are possible depending upon achievements
Scholarship can be taken in the Russia
Eligibility:
- The applicant is required to have a PhD degree in Communications/Electronic/Electrical engineering, computer science or a related discipline. Applicant who is close to hand in his/her Ph. D. thesis may also apply;
- Applicant should possess strong mathematical, analytical and programming skills;
- Applicant must be fluent in English: fluent reading of scientific literature in English is desirable;
- Applicant must have publications in the scientific journals with the impact factor > 1, h-index is not less than 2, and articles published in journals that are included in the database Web of Science and / or Scopus.
Nationality: Russian applicants can apply for these scholarships.
