Mahidol University in conjunction with Murdoch University is offering scholarships to undertake a dual Ph.D. commencing in 2017. Scholarships are awarded in the field of Molecular biology, Biochemistry or Bioinformatics.
On completion of their studies, students will receive a Ph.D. degree from both Mahidol University and Murdoch University. Students will undertake collaborative research projects co-supervised by a faculty member(s) from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and a faculty member(s) from Murdoch University
Students wishing to apply for the scholarships must have an IELTS score of 6.5.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for master’s graduates to undertake a dual Ph.D. programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of Molecular biology, Biochemistry or Bioinformatics.
Scholarship Award: One, possibly two full scholarships, inclusive of living allowance, fees, and health insurance are available for 2017.
Scholarship can be taken in Thailand and Australia
Eligibility: To be eligible, students must by the time of their entry into the Ph.D. program:
- Hold a master degree in the field of Molecular biology, Biochemistry or Bioinformatics with a GPA of 3.5.
- Have an IELTS score of 6.5
- Be able to communicate well in English
Nationality: Citizens of Thailand can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must hold a master degree in the field of Molecular biology, Biochemistry or Bioinformatics with a GPA of 3.5.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.5.
How to Apply: Students wishing to apply for the scholarships should consult with Dr. Chalermchai Mitrpant, Department of Biochemistry (chalermchai.mit-at-mahidol.ac.th). A letter of recommendation is required from the students from major advisor.
