Applications are being accepted for Fulbright Scholarships for the academic year 2018-2019. The scholarships are aimed at German students and graduates of universities and technical colleges.

The fellowships serve to deepen the professional studies within the framework of a 4 to 9-month full-time study at recognised American universities in the USA at the level of the Graduate Studies.

The German-American Fulbright Program implements Senator J. William Fulbright’s visionary concept: The promotion of mutual understanding between our two countries through the academic and bicultural exchange.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing graduate studies.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the American universities.

Scholarship Award: Full scholarships are available.

Scholarship can be taken in the USA

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for these scholarships:

  • The scholarship holders must be registered at the American universities in the Graduate School as Full-time students.
  • The Fulbright study fellowships are open to the students of all disciplines, with the exception of the Students of the Department of Medicine, their US studies only in related disciplines of the natural sciences or in the area of health administration.

Nationality: German students are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

How to Apply: The full Fulbright scholarship application includes:

  • Completely completed application form
  • Essay: Study Objective (in English)
  • In the essay “Study Objective” candidates represent concretely, what professional goal they pursue with the United States study period and the added value they expect from it for their future course of study you need to choose specific American preference colleges. In detail.
  • Essay: Personal statement (in English)
  • In the “Personal Statement” illuminate the applicants their previous career, their particular interests and personal goals.
  • Two letters of recommendation (in English) from two promoted university teachers
  • Copy of the certificate of university entrance qualification
