The aim of the scholarship is to support students from all over the world to conduct degree in Social Sciences.
The Asia Pacific Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “APB.” Its holdings consist of investments in equity securities of companies in the Asia Pacific region.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:
- Eligible Countries: US citizen, resident or foreign national
- Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet following requirements:
- Grade level: graduate student attending US-based college or university in 2018-19
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Pursuing a graduate degree in the social sciences, economics preferred but not required
- Research/study topics: preference given to topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities
- Ethnic heritage: preference for Asian heritage though not required
- English Language Requirements: Applicants must have fluency in English.
