How to Apply
- How to Apply: Applicants must take admission at the University of Sydney for a postgraduate research program. After that, the student can apply online for this study award.
- Supporting Documents: As part of the application, the applicants must submit all the required documents given on the application form
- Admission Requirements: To participate in this application, the applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer of admission for full-time studies in a Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
- Language Requirement: All students whose first language is not English must also meet the University’s English language requirements.
Benefits
The university will provide all the following:
- The sponsorship will provide an annual stipend allowance equivalent to the Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate for up to two years for a successful master by research recipient, and up to three years for a successful PhD recipient, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
- If the successful recipient relocates their place of residence they may claim an allowance for eligible expenses of up to $515 for each eligible adult and $255 for each eligible child, up to a maximum $1485 for each scholarship recipient.
- A successful master’s by research recipient may claim up to $420 while a successful PhD recipient may claim up to $840 in thesis allowance, within one year of thesis submission and no more than two years after scholarship end date.
