The studentship is tenable for up to 3 years available for the high-calibre EU and international applicants to pursue the PhD degree program at the university for the session in the UK.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The PhD support will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the candidates should have (or expect to have been formally awarded) by the start date a UK Bachelors Honours degree (or equivalent qualification) at 2:1 level or above in biochemistry, pharmacology, biomedical science, genetics or similar subject.

The studentship will cover bench fees of £3000 per year for years 1 and 2, and £6000 for year 3 paid by UCLan/University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), and one economy class return flight to KUMC in year 3.
