University of Warwick of UK is offering 17 fully-funded CADRE Scholarships. Awards will be made on an annual basis for up to 3.5 years for full-time students subject to satisfactory progress. The scholarship is for Home/EU students. Scholarships are available for pursuing PhD program. The application deadline is 13th January 2016.

Eligibility: Home/EU students applying to any discipline within the Arts Faculty and Philosophy.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The scholarship is for Home/EU students.

Scholarship Description: CADRE scholars are offered the chance to develop an innovative approach to interdisciplinary research and tackle societal challenges from a humanities perspective. CADRE aims to equip scholars with the knowledge, skills and understanding to pursue the profession of their choice, whether in academia or in the public or private sectors; to be informed and active citizens; and to seek to apply their expertise to the major issues facing society today.

Number of award(s): There are 17 fully-funded CADER scholarships available.

Duration of award(s): Awards will be made on an annual basis for up to 3.5 years for full-time student’s subject to satisfactory progress. Current first-year PhD students who are successful will be allocated the scholarship for a maximum of 2.5 years funding. No funding is retrospective. Extended scholarships of up to 5 years may be available for a number of teaching related opportunities. See CADRE website for further information.

What does it cover? The payment of academic fees at the Home/EU rate (£4,052* for 2015-16 this figure is likely to be increased in line with inflation for 2016-17 entry).A maintenance grant in line with the UK Research Council stipend (provisional £14,254 for full-time award holders in 2016-17).
