Sir Simon Milton Foundation is awarding undergraduate scholarship for Westminster students entering higher education. Payments will be made pro-rata over the duration of the degree. The total contribution from the Foundation over the period of study will be £10,000. Applicants to the scholarship will need to have demonstrated exceptional achievement or promise whilst at school and the ambition to succeed and achieve in higher education. Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must be:
-Under 30 years of age
-In 2015, commencing their first year of their first undergraduate degree of a: BSc, BEng or MEng in an Engineering-focussed course; BSc in a Construction-focussed course; BA in a History-focussed course and BA in a Politics-focussed course
-Former attendees of a school/college in Westminster and/or lived in Westminster prior to 2015
-Young people with a household income below £25,000
Scholarship Open for International Students: This undergraduate scholarship is available for UK students (Westminster students).
Scholarship Description: The Sir Simon Milton Scholarship will help fund the tuition fees of Westminster students entering higher education. Applicants to the Scholarship will need to have demonstrated exceptional achievement or promise whilst at school and the ambition to succeed and achieve in higher education. Applicants will be entering their first year in 2015 of an undergraduate Politics, History, Engineering or Construction-focussed course.

What does it cover? The Foundation’s Scholarship will only be used to support undergraduate tuition fees. The Foundation will make arrangements for payment of the award to be made directly to the University following confirmation of the scholarship. The total contribution from the Foundation over the period of study will be £10,000.
Selection Criteria: In 2015, the scholarship will prioritise the following applicants:
-First generation attendees of university in a family
-Young people with registered disabilities
-Young people leaving care
-Young Women studying an engineering or construction-focussed course
Notification: All applicants will be informed of the results later that month.
How to Apply: Applicants will need to complete an application form, which includes a personal statement and will submit it via email.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is 1st October 2015.
