PSC Masters Scholarship for Singaporean Students, 2016

Applications are invited for PSC Masters Scholarship for up to 2 years of study at a local or overseas university. The scholarship is not offered for MBA programmes, and the course of study should be in an area relevant to the work of the Civil Service, as approved by the PSC. Student will receive scholarship allowances (but not a salary) during their studies. The application deadline is 15 March 2016.

Eligibility: You must:
-Be a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who will take up Singapore citizenship;
-Have strong leadership qualities and potential;
-Have good Co-Curricular Activities record;
-Offer GCE A Levels, polytechnic diploma with merit or equivalent qualifications e.g. International Baccalaureate or high school diploma;
-Have a strong interest in a career in public administration.
-If you are keen on The Singapore Armed Forces or The Singapore Police Force Scholarship, you must qualify for and excel in Officer Cadet School.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Singaporean students can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The PSC Master’s Scholarship is for undergraduates at any year of study who are keen to pursue a Master’s degree upon graduation, or recent graduates with no more than 3 years of working experience in the private/non-government sector. Public officers can contact their respective agencies on opportunities for post-graduate sponsorship. The scholarship allows for up to 2 years of study at a local or overseas university. The scholarship is not offered for MBA programmes, and the course of study should be in an area relevant to the work of the Civil Service, as approved by the PSC.

-Receive scholarship allowances (but not a salary) during their studies;
-Be appointed to the Public Service Leadership Programme (PSLP) only after completing your Master’s degree; and
-Have a bond of 3 years
