City University London is offering School of Arts and Social Sciences Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme in 2016-17 academic year. The scholarship is available for postgraduate degree programmes.

All applicants that require a Tier 4 visa must meet the minimum Home Office English Language ability requirements before the University can issue the Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS) that is needed to apply for a Tier 4 visa. Minimum 5.5 in each of the test areas.

Course Level: The School of Arts and Social Sciences is delighted to offer a number of scholarships for postgraduate students.

Study Subject: Scholarships are offered for postgraduate degrees within the Centre for Creative Writing, Translation and Publishing, Department of Economics, Department of International Politics, Department of Music, Department of Psychology and Department of Sociology.

List of Subjects: Publishing / International Publishing, Audiovisual Translation and Popular Culture, Economic Evaluation in Healthcare, Health Economics, Development Economics, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, Global Political Economy, International Politics, International Politics and Human Rights, Music, Ethnomusicology, Composition, Clinical, Social and Cognitive Neuroscience and Criminology and Criminal Justice

Scholarship Award: Each bursary is worth £2,000 as a discount on your tuition fees. Funds will be deducted from the January 2017 tuition fee instalment.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
-be a self-funded student and not in receipt of any other scholarships;
-be a full or part-time student;
-be in receipt of an offer on one of the eligible degrees listed above

Nationality: UK/EU and international applicants can apply for these scholarships.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: All applicants that require a Tier 4 visa must meet the minimum Home Office English Language ability requirements before the University can issue the Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS) that is needed to apply for a Tier 4 visa. Minimum 5.5 in each of the test areas. The test needs to have been taken no longer than two years from the date that the CAS is generated.
