The Junior Research Group, Optoelectromechanical Integrated Nanosystems for Sensing (OptoSense)” of Dr.-Ing. Hutomo Suryo Wasisto, Germany opens a scientific position at the Braunschweig University of Technology. Position is available for German applicants.
The aim of the PhD position is to enable and encourage academically able students from Germany.

Scholarship Award: PhD remuneration will be in line with the current German collective pay agreement TV-L E13 with 75% of employment for up to three years (around 2600 Euros/month (gross salary) depending on the individual experience and condition of the applicant).

Eligibility: In order to apply for scholarship, applicants must follow the given criteria:
-High academic record, in particular a master’s degree in micro/nanosystems, electrical engineering, electronics, semiconductor engineering, physics, chemistry, or related fields;
-In-depth knowledge of semiconductor nanotechnology or research experiences in the fields of semiconductor-based sensors (especially GaN technology), nanofabrication, optical and electrical characterization, integrated circuits (ICs)/electronics, or nanometrology;
-Interest in multidisciplinary research;
-Very high proficiency in both English and German as well as excellent scientific journal writing skills;
-Committed, self-motivated, self-driven, and proactive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Nationality: Position is open for German applicants.
