University of Sussex is delighted to offer STFC PhD Studentships in Experimental Particle Physics in UK. Studentship is open to UK and EU resident students only. However, university also welcomes applications from self-funded non-EU students.

Course Level: Studentship is available for pursuing PhD programme.
Study Subject: Studentship is awarded in the field of Experimental Particle Physics.
Scholarship Award: University is presently offering fully funded studentships available to UK and EU nationals on ATLAS and SNO+ projects for a September 2016 start. Funded studentships cover a tax free bursary (£14,057 per annum in 2015/16) and home/EU fees for 3.5 years. University also welcomes applications from self-funded non-EU students interested in our experimental programme. Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be held in February and March.

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for an Academic Merit Scholarship, applicants must meet the conditions below:
-Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a UK Bachelor degree in Physics at first or upper second class, and/or a UK Master’s degree in Physics, or equivalent non-UK qualifications. A good standard of written and spoken English is essential.

College Admission Requirement
