PMBM Scholarship Fund Board (LBKM) is offering LBKM Prestigious Scholarship for students of Singapore. These scholarships are open to undergraduate students at top 10 world universities and to postgraduate students.

LBKM‘s mission is to assist students financially in realizing their educational potential

LBKM was officially launched on 22 Aug 1965 at a convention held at the Victoria Memorial Hall. LBKM received, and still does, overwhelming support from the Malay and Muslim community.

Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: Applicants in the following categories may apply:

• Islamic Studies-Postgraduate level only
• Secular Studies-Undergraduates and Postgraduates

Scholarship Award: Scholarships of S$10,000 to undergraduates studying in a prestigious overseas university and scholarships of S$15,000 to postgraduate students.

Scholarship can be taken in Abroad or Singapore

Eligibility: The criteria are as follows:

Undergraduate level-Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following Top 11 universities based on Quacquarelli Symonds and Times Higher Education rankings 2015:

• Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – USA
• Harvard University – USA
• University of Cambridge – UK
• Stanford University – USA
• California Institute of Technology (Caltech) – USA
• University of Oxford – UK
• University College London – UK
• Imperial College London – UK
• ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – Switzerland
• University of Chicago – USA
• Princeton University – USA

Postgraduate level-Applications will be based on:

• The course of study, research topic and research supervisor.
• A good honours degree
• Full-time studies
• Record of community involvement

Nationality: Applicants from Singapore can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants should meet the university requirement in which they want to apply.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English.

How to Apply: Application forms and copies of documents shall be sent to the office LBKM by post. Please ensure all required documents have been provided, to be arranged in the following order:

• Recent passport size photograph
• Photocopy of NRIC or passport (if NRIC is unavailable)
• Letter of acceptance/enrollment from the university / matriculation card
• Latest exam results (for non-first year students)
• Copies of all certificates obtained
• Transcript of exam results
• Referee reports
• Mission statement
• Research proposal
• Publication(s): Please submit a copy of each of your publication(s), if any.
• For self-financing applicants: to explain how you intend to finance your studies.

Please include documentary evidence, such as a bank statement, recent payslip, letter of sponsorship, grant or award.
