Applications are invited for AISM scholarships from Malaysia students who will enter Year 11 in January 2016 and continue to Year 12 and the Higher School Certificate in 2017. The AISM offers a full two years scholarships to cover the cost of application fee, admissions fee, tuition fees and technology fees for Years 11 and 12. The award of the scholarship is based on the strength of the student’s academic performance, strong background in other school activities including leadership, sport and the arts and school community involvement. The application deadline is 26th August 2015.

Eligibility:
-Pre-University Scholarships are for Malaysian and expatriate students who are interested in pursuing Years 11 and 12 at the school, which is the last two years of schooling, leading to the Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations.
-Scholarships to Malaysian students (sitting for SPM in 2015) not enrolled at AISM who are about to sit for the SPM examinations.
-Scholarship to expatriate students (sitting for IGCSE, O-Levels or equivalent in 2015) not enrolled at AISM who have or will be sitting for the IGCSE/O-Levels examinations or equivalent in 2015.

Scholarship Description: The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) Scholarship Programme offers a full two years scholarship to Malaysia students who are keen to enroll in the school for Year 11 and Year 12. The scholarship awards are based on the strength of the student’s academic performance, co-curriculum involvement, communication skills and financial situation. There are three types of scholarships available as follows:
-Pre-University Scholarships: The Australian International School Malaysia(AISM) is offering pre-university or matriculation scholarship for Malaysian and expatriate students. Applications are now open for those interested in pursuing Years 11 and 12 at the school, which is the last two years of schooling, leading to the Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations.
-Scholarship to Malaysian students (sitting for SPM in 2015): Australian International School offers full and partial scholarships to Malaysian citizens not enrolled at AISM who are about to sit for the SPM examinations.
-Scholarship to expatriate students (sitting for IGCSE, O-Levels or equivalent in 2015): Australian International School offers full and partial scholarships to expatriate students not enrolled at AISM who have or will be sitting for the IGCSE/O-Levels examinations or equivalent in 2015.

Duration of award(s): The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) Scholarship Programme offers a full two years scholarship. The scholarship may also be extended, depending on the student’s performance, to the Taylor’s University.

Preference is given to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend and benefit from a school such as AISM.
