University of Sheffield is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2016 entry. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to undertake MBA program at the university.

The University aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for International students.

The University of Sheffield was founded over a hundred years ago, founded on the aspirations and financial support of the people of Sheffield. The University is ranked 97th in the world and 15th in the UK according to the 2015-16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, a rise of three and 24 places respectively.

There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for international students to pursue MBA Program.

Study Subject: Scholarships are tenable in business administration at the university of Sheffield.

Scholarship Award:  Two scholarships available to exceptional candidates, offering a 50% reduction on the full MBA programme fee (£10,625) and Eight scholarships available, offering a 40% reduction on the full programme fee (£8,500 reduction).

Eligibility: Scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria which you should check carefully to make sure you are eligible before you apply. The scholarship will be awarded to international on the basis of merit.

The general eligibility requirements are:
-Academic requirements – applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree, or equivalent.
-Allowed study options – applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme.
-Personal criteria – applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary to make an excellent contribution to the programme.
-UK scholarships only: Residency restrictions – applicants must originate from the United Kingdom.
-Those students who are considered to be the most outstanding as decided by a committee (consisting of the Postgraduate Admissions Director, one of the School’s Admissions Tutors, and the MBA programme director) will be awarded the scholarship.

Nationality: UK and International students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement: A good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role and On occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience

English Language Requirements: Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognised English language test such as IELTS. You need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.

MBA scholarships

Supporting Material: -All applications must be made online through the UCAS website for International Baccalaureate Diploma.
-Applicants have to write a personal statement.

How to Apply: All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.

Application Deadline: The scholarship application must be received by 22 April 2016.
