The College of Engineering at Swansea University is inviting applications for ‘Women in Engineering’ scholarship, from UK/EU students. Scholarship is available to undertake postgraduate programme.

International applicants are expected to demonstrate a good level of English for entry into the UK and for our courses. English Language requirements are normally judged in terms of formal IELTS (International English Language Testing System). This is because IELTS is widely available at thousands of testing centres worldwide. University accept IELTS tests taken at ANY test centre and not just those listed as SELT for visa purposes.
Course Level: This Scholarship is available for pursuing MSc programme.
Study Subject: Scholarship is offered within the College of Engineering, including the Sports Science MSc by Research programme.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship covers the full tuition fee for the 12 month course.

Eligibility: The applicant must meet the following criteria:
Women expecting or holding a 1st class or high 2.1 class honours degree in a relevant subject area (engineering, mathematics, physical sciences) are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must hold an offer to study on an eligible full-time MSc, MSc by Research, or MRes course within the College of Engineering at Swansea University commencing in September 2016.
Nationality : The applicants from UK as well as from EU can apply for this scholarship programme.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for entrance to a postgraduate degree programme candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, or its equivalent, from a recognize overseas University/College of Higher Education.

Test Requirements: Most academic departments will ask for an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) for undergraduate degrees and IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) for postgraduate degrees.
